2010 provisional MotoGP calendar

The FIM have announced that the provisional date of the 2010 Czech Republic Grand Prix has been moved to August 15th.The FIM have today announced an amendment to the provisional calendar for the 2010 MotoGP World Championship, with the Czech Republic Grand Prix to be held a week earlier than originally scheduled.

Hiroshi Aoyama Juara Dunia Kelas 250cc



Balapan terakhir kelas 250cc di Sirkuit Valencia berjalan seru. Hector Barbera akhirnya berhasil jadi juara, tetapi yang paling bahagia adalah Hiroshi Aoyama yang jadi juara dunia.

Balapan di Valencia, Minggu (8/11/2009), adalah balapan terakhir kelas 250cc sebelum tahun depan bermetamorfosis menjadi Moto2. Aoyama memasuki seri ini dengan keunggulan 21 angka atas Marco Simoncelli. Dengan keunggulan tersebut, Aoyama yang mengendarai motor Honda hanya membutuhkan posisi finis ke-11 untuk jadi juara dunia andai Simoncelli (Gilera) memenangi lomba.

Tapi asa itu sempat memudar ketika Aoyama melebar di lap ke-10 dan bergabung kembali di posisi 11. Sementara, Simoncelli yang juga juara dunia bertahan membuka harapan untuk mempertahankan titelnya dengan memimpin lomba. Namun mimpi Simoncelli berakhir di lap 20 dari 27 lap durasi total lomba. Saat tengah memimpin dengan keunggulan kurang dari satu detik dari Barbera, pembalap Italia itu terjatuh.

Posisi pemimpin lomba pun beralih ke Barbera yang akhirnya berhasil mempertahankan posisi itu hingga finis. Barbera finis di depan pembalap Spanyol lainnya, Alvaro Bautista.

Aoyama sendiri akhirnya finis di posisi ketujuh dan mengunci titel juara dunia 2009 untuknya dengan nilai akhir 261. Posisi kedua lepas dari genggaman Simoncelli (231) dan direbut Barbera dengan nilai 239.
